Example itinerary
Olbia
Olbia is a vibrant gateway to the Costa Smeralda, blending ancient history with a lively coastal atmosphere. It features a bustling historic center filled with charming cafes and shops. From its well-equipped marina, you can enjoy easy access to the crystal-clear waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea and several nearby secluded bays.
Bonifacio
Bonifacio is a breathtaking fortress town perched dramatically atop sheer white limestone cliffs at Corsica's southern tip. Sailing into its narrow, fjord-like harbor is one of the most iconic experiences in the Mediterranean. You can explore the medieval citadel’s winding alleys, climb the historic King of Aragon’s Staircase, or enjoy the lively atmosphere of the marina below. With its unique blend of French charm and Italian influence, Bonifacio offers spectacular views across the strait toward Sardinia.
National Park La Maddalena
The Archipelago of La Maddalena is a protected marine park renowned for its pristine turquoise waters and untouched granite islands. It offers some of the most spectacular sailing in the Mediterranean, including the famous Pink Beach on Budelli. The area also has a rich maritime history, with rugged coastal landscapes that are perfect for exploration by boat. La Maddalena is a popular destination for snorkeling and diving, whose vibrant marine life can be found all over the islands.
Cala Coticcio
Hidden on the eastern coast of Caprera Island, Cala Coticcio is often referred to as "Sardinia’s Little Tahiti" for its incredibly clear, shallow turquoise water. This sheltered cove is surrounded by dramatic pink granite boulders and lush Mediterranean scrub, creating a secluded paradise accessible only by boat or a rugged trek. It is a premier spot for snorkeling, where you can swim among schools of friendly fish in a pristine, natural aquarium. As part of the protected national park, its untouched beauty remains one of the most photographed gems of the entire archipelago.
Cala Portese
Nestled on a narrow peninsula, Cala Portese is a deep-cut bay featuring a perfect sandy beach and a cozy bar for ice cream. Known as the "Beach of the Two Seas," its calm, turquoise waters offer a serene anchorage sheltered by wild granite rocks. For those feeling adventurous, a hike up the nearby hills rewards you with breathtaking panoramic views as the sun begins to set.
