Why a sailing week in Corfu?
Delve into the captivating world of sailing as you embark on a week-long journey through one of Greece’s most beautiful island regions. Corfu and its surroundings offer the perfect mix of emerald-green hills, calm sailing conditions, lively harbours and secluded turquoise bays. Compared with rougher open-sea routes, the Ionian is ideal for a social and accessible sailing week with short sailing distances and maximum time for swimming, exploring and enjoying long summer evenings.
Gouvia Harbour
Gouvia Marina is the starting point of the week and one of the best-known sailing bases in Corfu. It’s the perfect place to meet your crew, settle onto the boat and kick off the journey with a first dinner or drinks by the marina.
Syvota & Bella Vraka Beach
Bella Vraka is one of the most iconic beach stops in the Ionian, famous for its shallow sandbank and surreal turquoise water. It’s the kind of place where you jump off the boat, float for an hour, and instantly feel like you’re far away from everything.
Antipaxos
Antipaxos is all about dazzling blue water, swim stops and laid-back summer energy. This tiny island is known for its almost Caribbean-looking bays and is one of the visual highlights of the whole week. It’s the perfect destination for snorkeling, sunbathing on deck and long lunches on the boat.
Gaios Harbour
Gaios is the lively harbour heart of Paxos, with waterfront restaurants, colourful buildings and a buzzing evening atmosphere. After a day on the water, it’s the perfect place to go ashore, walk through the small streets and enjoy dinner with the group.
Benitses
Benitses brings a more authentic Corfu-village feeling to the route. Expect a relaxed marina, local tavernas and a slower rhythm after the more vibrant Paxos stop. It’s a good reset moment in the week: less showy, more Greek, and ideal for a warm evening by the water.
Ormos Kalami Bay
Kalami Bay is one of Corfu’s most scenic anchorages, framed by green hills and calm clear water. This is the kind of stop that makes an Ionian sailing week special: paddleboarding, swimming straight off the boat, and finishing the day with sunset drinks on deck.
Return to Gouvia Harbour
On Friday we sail back to Gouvia Marina for the final evening together. One last dinner, one last drink on deck, and one last chance to relive the best moments of the week before check-out.
